Horse training begins as soon as the foal is born and continues for as long as you want your horse to be a well behaved partner and friend.

From ground work to show horse, horse-training is an art and a passion. Training the western horse or the english horse requires many of the same techniques. Only after the basics in training your horse are achieved can or should you move on to more specific performance event training.

Whether you send your horse out to a professional horse trainer for horse training or you do most of the horse training yourself most likely you’ll need the help and advice in one form or the other of the professional horse trainer. I hope to make life easier for you by providing professional horse trainers who can and will help you in your horse training goals.

I’ll do this using:

blogging tips

online video horse training exercises

online video horseback riding lessons

So be sure to check back often to see what we have going on.

Natural horsemanship is about forming a partnership with your horse. Old television westerns show the cowboy breaking and training a horse using true grit and force. If the cowboy stayed on until the horse stopped bucking then he was the winner for the day and the horse training proceeded from there.

Instead of force natural horsemanship seeks to gain the respect and trust of the horse by gently leading the horse through a series of non violent steps to achieve the horse training goal.

Communication between the horse and man means the sharing and understanding of ideas. Natural horsemanship strives to reach this goal of communication.

Pat Parelli says “Natural Horsemanship is an attitude for people who are positive, progressive, and who believe in the natural point of view of the horse.”

In this blog we’ll cover natural horsemanship horse training as well as more traditional western and english horse training.

Training a horse:

Cause to grow as desired

Make or become prepared or skilled

Just like humans a horse never get’s finished. They are always a work in progress with the joy being the journey and reaching those short term horse training goals and achievements along the way.

Training a horse is achieved by using conditioned response cues. Training a horse has changed and improved over the last decade and now with the advent of online video we no longer have to haul a horse into a trainers barn to get lessons on horse training.

Stick around and come back often to learn from each other and professional horse trainers online. Training a horse has never been easier or more fun.
