www.aafke-art.com I have trained as a westernsaddle maker. It started off with me wanting the perfect saddle for my horse The Tarq. But I wanted to do the carving myself. So I learned leathercarving. And why not learn leather sowing as well? and in the end I trained as a saddler. In this slideshow I show th Tarq being measured, and the tree fitted, and some of the stages of making the saddle.
